I dared to post photos from an off-the-beaten angles. I'm not sure why this park is popular after actually visiting here. Yeah, it's big and green. You can enjoy fresh air, however it's never a quiet place. It's surrounded by busy roads. Well, this is not a touristy spot from the beginning. By the way, it might be good for lunch since you can find an open-air food court(?) somewhere in this plot. Oasis for businesspeople.

I visited this place in the evening, around 6pm, lots of kids playing skateboard. In my opinion, the park encompasses of skateboard arena, playground, huge empty field (shown below for events) and lots of small vendors selling street food and children's toys. Was only here for a short time, so I couldn't tell much. The local snacks was pretty good and affordable.

Amazing place for local citizens to spend their weekend with family. lots of people gather here to just chill and meet with their community

Plenty of street foods available, humble and complete city park. Cleanliness is a problem here, the facilities were great but it wasn't cared enough - plenty of facilities were unused, dirty, and broken. The restrooms were supposedly great but the condition was awful.

This is used to be a really great park, but because of covid it lost the vibe its used to be. But its still a great place to hang out

This is a very well known park in Surabaya, even people from outside Surabaya knows a little about this park. The park is really green and beautiful because of many trees, that also make the air become cooler here. There are many areas for people to do skateboard, jogging, and many kind of sports. A playground for children also available here. It can be accessed easily because of being located near the city centre, and many public transportation through this place.
