Historical place where kings palace and Temple. It is a very beautiful place and well maintained.you have to climb by stairs for 5-10mins. This place can tell us how historical Indonesia was and how it was destroyed later. Now the only entrance is that we can see the rest is ruins. The Indonesian archeology department must focus on this site and use modern tools to excavate the remains.

One of heritage site in Yogyakarta, not as popular as Prambanan temple, but I think it has better ambience and scenery. The best time to go here is above 3pm. I recommend you to watch sunset here, at least once in your lifetime, because it's so beautiful. It's not located on main road like Prambanan temple, so if you don't bring any vehicle, you can go here by shuttle fro Prambanan Temple.

Historical palace related to Prambanan temple. Nice place to visit, not so many visitors, many good spots for taking pictures.. as well as if you want to take silhouette or dramatic photos is definitely this spot

Well maintained and clean. Very nice scenery. But it is to busy for many days, so you can't take photo perfectly, basically in main gate of the palace

Not as famous as borobudur or prambanan temple, but because of good maintain, this place realy suit for sunset hunting. At the top of mountain makes the view is so beautiful. Great for healing, the road to come here isn't hard at all too. Historically beautifu????

A large complex of historical site that offers a great view since it's located on the hill. There's a restaurant here that you can chill and view the city landscape.

Sad that the historical site didn't come with detailed inscriptions and a better sign system to give thorough explanations to the visitor so we only see the ruins and couldn't visualized the details vividly of what once was a great palace.

me and my wife really love this place. not so huge archaeological complex. takes about 1 -1.5 hour if you want to explore all the area.

The management have a picnic package, we took the package and we really loved it. Food was great, consist of snacks and local drinksh. Kindly search "boko picnic" or "ratu boko picnic" on instagram/google if you want to booked for a picnic package.
