I often visit here to simply hang out. A solar eclipse happened to past through Medan back in 26 Dec 2019, so I went here to get a clear view if the eclipse. The eclipse is simply stunning. Sadly many food outlets are closed today. If it reopens, I will definitely revisit it. One of the few parks in Medan

Modern and lively ambience in the heart of Medan. Many big restaurants and coffee shops. Also many lights under the trees. The guests chairs are being put both indoor and outdoor area. The sidewalk is clean. There are pick up and drop off points for online vehicles. A good place to spend quality time with family and friends.

This is 2nd time both of us spend time for celebration our new year... Good by Year 2020 and Welcome for Year 2021... My son just you who always by my side standing... Chear me up... Thank you... I always love you... Hopefully God always give you good health... Good carieer, this year you still get 2nd Champions in school good job... Thank you Merdeka walk place.. Even this place is cheap but Its look expensive for us cause memories that give Unforgettable...

Well known for hangout in Medan City. Good place for family. Because of its well known, many people come here and make it crowded, sometimes it is kinda difficult to find parking space if you get there by car. So I recommend you using public transport or at least motorbike. You can enjoy lunch or dinner here, but I recommend you to come here at night because they have beautiful lighting. Around there, you can enjoy the view of building with old architecture while enjoying your food.

A lovely row of coffee shops and restaurants under the trees (or indoors) along the main road. As first time tourists we found the place from Google Maps and enjoyed dinner outside, with a cold beer! At night though, take insect repellant. Probably a great spot for a morning coffee or catch up with friends.

Nice place to enjoy your free time with doing sports in the morning.
You can do jogging, yoga, aerobic, or gym with the equipment around here.

You can also find many types of food here, we call it jajanan.
The famous one is egg-sausage, baked meatballs, and many else.

In the night, especially Saturday night, the atmosphere is really crowded of people that hanging out with friends or families. They choose restaurant in Merdeka Walk because it's located strategically near Centre Point and another big place.

Good place to hang out with friends for dinner. There's a big park nearby so one can just walk around or play or do nothing at Al.

As for food, there's nothing special for the place. You will find all of the restaurants on various parts of Medan.
