Four Points by Sheraton Makassar

Initially booked for 2 adults and 2 children with breakfast. Upon checkin was told to pay extra for the kids, aged 6 and 11, since free bfast is only for below 5. Was disappointed but too tired to look for another hotel, decided to remove bfast altogether.
Room was very standard, toilet was smelly as well, definitely not 4 stars level.
Would not stay here again.

Rooms and service is good, but the location stands out from main road. It frustated me as a newcomer. If you go for business trip u0026 need to print some document, they only provide 5 sheets.

4-star standard hotel. The air conditioner was not cool enough, it can adjusted manually but seems not cool. Foods ok, fitness center ok, swimming pool ok. Stayed on weekdays but the hotel quite crowded.

The room cozy specially the pillow very comfy... The minus from the hotel toilet in the meeting room area no one stand there to clean... When full capacity the toilet very dirty and gives smell bad ????

I don't need upsales, if I need any, I'll go to starbucks, for my request smoking room has been rejected and got upsales offering, seriously? And don't say you got no more smoking room.
As regular customer I always choose Four Points, but not anymore, dont need hotels with upsales target, i need hotels who recognize their regular customers

It's a nice hotel. It has many halls that are used for various kinds of gatherings, like wedding party, university reunion, seminar or workshop, etc. The musholla is on the second floor and quite small actually. The food tastes good.

I have stayed at dozen of hotels in Makassar. This was on the top of the list of best stays/experiences ever. Staff was very hospitable and there for every need of mine. The amenities were great. The room was wonderful, clean and tidy. The meals are great, delicious.

I highly recommend this hotel for anyone visiting Makassar.
