I'm not happy with the management here. Upfront there's guest book to fill and the guy ask for "pay as you like". It was not an entrance fee as you still need to pay 5k if you want to enter the museum.
But my main problem, turns out the building was also used as office, it was plagued with vehicles parked in every corner.

Historic building in Makasar, near from swiss bellhotel. You dont need to buy a ticket here. The building was still strong. Even though the visitor dont need to buy a ticket but this fort is very clean, neat and well organized. You can take photos here to perpetuates the history about this building.

Fort Rotterdam is a 17th-century fort in Makassar on the island of Sulawesi in Indonesia. It is a Dutch fort built on top of an existing fort of the Gowa Kingdom. The first fort on the site was constructed by the a local sultan in around 1634, to counter Dutch encroachments. The site was ceded to the Dutch under the Treaty of Bongaya, and they completely rebuilt it between 1673 and 1679. It had six bastions and was surrounded by a seven meter high rampart and a two meter deep moat.

There are many buildings I can't join to see a rooms ????
Many places have been made part of their offices But no problem, 1 La Galigo museum can enter And pay for the ticket

There is 1 dark room when I tried to enter it was stuck ???????? it's funny enough to test my fears trying to read the photo paintings there

The fort is very cool and beautiful, in the fort there is a museum, in the museum we can learn tge history of the fort and makasar

As a big supporter of Feyenoord Rotterdam I needed to be here ofcourse. Its an impressive fort. You need to imagine that its build over 100 years ago. By the Indonesians under ruling of Adm. Speelman.

For the whole history I would recommend a tourguide. They are present for 100k-200k rph. Depends how nice you are to them in the beginning.

There is no entree fee. Its more like what are you willing to donate. The museum isnt really dedicated to Fort Rotterdam. More like to Makassar history. It's worth it to see it. With a guide it will take 1 - 1.5 hour. Alone checking around 30 min.
