Great place to go with kids and family. Boogie car available to rent for IDR 750K, fit for 7-9max people, a bit pricey though. Clean area. Animal seems in good care. Many animal interaction area, good for kids. Recommend to visit anytime except noon (for walk).

Nice place to bring the family, especially kids. There's animal shows and presentations which are quite fun. The staff are knowledgeable and very helpful. Nice place to spend half a day. Recommended!

Oh they don't let you bring food or drinks into the zoo.... and hunting is also frowned upon. So yeah...

Great experience for young children, you can really see the animals up close. The free shuttle bus is really handy too. There's a few cafes/restos around the zoo, if you're hungry/thirsty and the toilet facilities are good. Most of the animals look well looked after, however some of the enclosures are really too small for the animals. The deer and wallaby area at the beginning is nice though, as they are wondering around, almost freely.

Overall was a good zoo, plenty of animals. Zoo was well maintained and tidy. Highlight was getting to feed and pat an elephant BUT

I thought the lions, the male in particular to be sick/sad like it’s had a hard life. I didn’t even want to get a picture of it as I felt sorry for it.

Absolutely lovely zoo!! Better than many I have been too, animals are treated well and many are not in cages but large open enclosures. Friendly, knowledgeable staff. Definitely worth a visit while in Bali!

A Zoo experience can be a little sad at tines seeing animals trapped However yeah animals look like they’re in a nice environment and there is lots to do for kids. There’s a playground and the swimming area and breakfast with the orangutans. Kids can ride little ponies or elephants. Take photos with birds. Nice family experience.

Its very nice to see Bali has reopened its doors for travelers. Bali Zoo is really a must visit especially if you bring kids. Super kids friendly here and most importantly it feels exactly like international level Zoo. Clean, route is not confusing, safe and functional zoo for kids.

Price is reasonable too. Easy 5 star
