A great place with lots of visitors especially at weekends. An educative place to recognize a wide variety of freshwater fish and their habitats. The hallway and the rooms are clean, the aquarium is pretty well maintained. The ticket prices are fairly cheap for two locations (freshwater world and insect museum).

TMII Fresh Water Aquarium is quite big surrounded by somekind like a lake. The building is lack of care since the place is kinda dirty and old. But still pretty good. When i was there it was weekdays so there wasn't many people.

The animals collection is pretty good comes from Indonesia and other countries. There are two installations that resemble river ecosystem. There are big fishes including arapaima and fresh water sharks. There are also small fishes, so beautiful.

The ticket price is 30K rupiah for one adult. But by this price you could also come to Insects Museum that is located next to the Fresh Water Aquarium.

This part of Taman mini cost an extra entry fee of twenty five thousand rupiah (or 35 can't remember). It includes an entry to the insect museum which is very sub par compared to this acquarium. Well with the visit not just for AC but to see some of the nice impressive fishes they have. Definitely recommend.

Better than SeaWorld Ancol, the fish collection and aquarium more complete. With 30 thousand rupiah you get 2 tickets, you can access to insect and butterfly garden

Great aquarium, good place for peace healing and not crowded people, because people would think this venue was boring ???? but not for me ... i like being here ...

The place is not well maintained, some fish are dead for a very long time yet they're still on display

(+) So many collection of freshwater fish, not only Indonesian fish, they also got from other tropical countries such as the giant arapaima.
(+) Very cheap, only 30k per person include entrance for insect museum u0026 butterfly park.
(+) ITS AIR CONDITIONED! And baby stroller/ push chair friendly as well.

(-) Fish tank maintenance could be better.
