I was there for dinner and I really enjoyed it there. Food was fresh and tasted really good. The shrimp dish was too spicy for my taste but I can tell the shrimps were super fresh. The drink was cool. My friend told me if I want to taste Indonesian cuisine, I need to go to Bale Udang. Staff were friendly. We chose the table by the lake and the atmosphere there was nice. It was quite chill and windy in the evening. That night, there was a singer singing beautiful Indonesian songs. Her voice was amazing. Thanks to her, foreigners like us had a chance to know about beautiful Indonesian songs.

Very representative for family/office gathering. We came here at night so the ambience is a bit romantic. The main menu is seafood but you can find chicken as well. There are several family packages that help you having various menu in compelling price. A bit pricey but worth it, we spent 700k for 5 person. Parking space is spacious.

huge, beautiful grounds; you’d never know you were just off a hugely crowded intersection in a huge tourist area. food was very good; mostly Indonesian menu but was quality and authentic. service fine but they really focused on asking you how you’re doing. it’s a bit much. still, highly recommended. just be careful you don’t fall in the water.

Amazing atmosphere sitting in your own hut on the water with authentic Indonesian food. We had the banquet with fish, prawns, chicken and vegetables. This is the best way to go because at the time there was no English version, so we would've had to guess what to order.

We had the most amazing Dinner there! The atmosphere is wonderfull and the staff very friendly. We were 3 people and shared a shrimp platter with white rice and added some vegetables. Puh - the different sauces and marinades for the shrimps! It was so much yet we couldn't get enough! We so desperately want to go there again and recommend everybody to go! It is not a cheap restaurant but you get so much for what you pay! We payed around 200.000 rupiah per person for maybe the best shrimp we ever had! So not so pricey after all :-)

Came here for lunch with my family. Nice place and has a large parking space. The food was good, but the portion was quite small. I hate the waiting time, the restaurant was not crowded but it took 1 hour to deliver our order.

A gem finding. The place has a very beautiful ambience and the food taste wonderful. We took alot of pictures, and ate the Jimbaran set which came with grilled fish, squid, prawns, mussels and fish. The food was grilled to perfection and I love the squid. The set also came with vegetables. The sambal vegetables are very soft and easy to chew. I love the seat beside the river and the lanterns at night. The drinks are also good. I enjoyed the ice coffee. Will definitely recommend this beautiful place for a romantic dinner! Not forgetting the wonder service of the staff who are poilte, friendly and warm!
