The monument is absolutely huge and amazing! We loved it! You can walk around in the beautiful garden and inside the monument, and there's even an indoor water fountain with a spiral staircase in the middle where you can go up and see the history exhibition about Bali. Wonderful architecture with tragic history. Highly recommend to see!

Locals seem slightly unimpressed by this and I had been told by multiple people that it isn’t worth the visit from Canggu. We had a lovely time!

The monument is quite impressive and set in the grounds of a large park which was totally empty on a Saturday at around 1pm. When we drove past later on it was so busy with locals though!

The monument is home to a huge diorama telling the history of Bali which we found really interesting and a viewing platform.

Very nice monument, sorrounded by park. It is free of charge to spend time in park and out of the monument. Nice to take picture here. If you want to learn about the monument is, you have to pay IDR 25rb / person and you can enter the monument. Unfortunately, when i visited this place, i were not going inside due to limited time.

About the park, a lot of people use this place for family bounding and jogging track.

No smoking and or vape in this place.

For all the visitors, please keep this place clean.

Entry price for foreigner is $50K while local is $25K rph. This is a museum showing struggles of Balinese thru history from 7 BC to 1945. They have English description for every display so visitors can read at our own space.

I came here just to see something while I was nearby. I was pretty bored but it's half interesting history you can walk around looking at. Can take some nice photos form outside and up the top. 50000 entry.

Located in the heart of Denpasar, the garden surrounding the moniment is huge. The monument itself consist of 2 main area , diorama area which depicts Bali's history and viewing area in the top from which you can view most of Denpasar city.

Staff is friendly and informative, and the collection is well maintained. Would visit again someday
