You can make this museum better with all of the regional budget. Just look all those people. Laying down and eating on the floor, even throwing some garbage as they like.

Located within and under the monument itself, the museum and exhibition within the museum is quite small. It consist of several dioramas covering the history of Indonesia, showcasing important events and periods. The dioramas are all well made and interesting to see, and they are all explained in several languages including English. It is well worth the trip!

National museum of Indonesia is also known as the elephant museum by the locals. You can find the elephant in front of the museum. The bronze elephant was given by the Thai king to the Dutch in the 18 century. This building was a Dutch building before is also functioned as museum.

In this museum you can know a brief history of Indonesia from the prehistoric era until now. They also collected some of the famous artifact in Indonesia.

Very brief history of Indonesia presented illustrated beautifully by minatures. Do not expect much but it's a good time killer while waiting for your time slot to head to the peak on the tower. The biggest drawback however is that the air conditioning was entirely broken down that day. It was so just to hot and uncomfortable.
