Few days ago i was guiding 2 ladies 84 years old from Netherland visited this place.
I have assisted them and came inside this church.
She said that her uncle was merried on this church.. she was really happy to come here and this church still existing..

The "chicken" church is built in around 1920, and I think is one of the most beautiful art deco style church in Bogor, heck in Indonesia may be since I don't know any other. What I love about it is that the development of other buildings around the church still gives room for people to appreciate its beauty 360. Unfortunately it was closed and I couldn't get inside.

It's got quite a spacious parking lot separate ones for cars u0026 motorcycles, beautiful Dutch style ceiling although no paintings. There are 4 main worship rooms: the main building and 3 additional new rooms in the new buildings, all air conditioned. We're not supposed to smoke around this area. It's right next to the main functioning entrance of the Bogor Presidential Palace. Services typically last for 90mins, slightly longer for special days such Christmas. The office opens 5 days a week except on Mondays u0026 Sundays are for service purposes.

Very iconic old church. Established in the Dutch colonial era in Indonesia and one of the most beautiful and historic places in Indonesia. Comfortable and quiet worship. Very happy to worship here. Gbu

Heritage protestant church. Right beside one of Bogor Palace entry gate. Sunday service starts at 6.AM

A church....yes...a christian church...the difference is...this church was built by the dutchmen who colonized indonesia for almost three and a half centuries. So the building is pretty old but also sturdy enough to standing until now.
