Food was great! Comparing it with the Balinese one, I actually like this better ???? taste wise, this one has stronger spices, so it’s more fragrant and stronger flavors. The boiled veggies were a bit too chewy, but other than that, all very tasty!

The food is finger licking good.
For those who don't like too spicy food, I recommend fried kampung chicken.
A soft and tender texture on the inside but crunchy on the outside, processed with abundant spices that seep to the bone. Served with crumbs, dry spices and an epic
sambal matah .
This is one of the most scrumptious food in Banyuwangi.

The amount of flavour tactility that their dish will put into your mouth just screams grandiose! From the intense spice of the chicken, to the mixing and matching with the side dishes. Just beware to not have too much capsaicin (hot spicy compound), they're sure to make your palate numb if you're not careful. ✌️

Was there during lunch time and it was quite crowded.. the place was decent, nothing extravagant.. the menu was quite simple, tried the original one and fried one.. both are above expectation.. it was delicious.. price was also reasonable.. will come back whenever in Banyuwangi..

Another hidden gem in Banyuwangi. Definitely a must try. Taste really good, and reasonably priced. The only reason that I don't give 5 stars is there were so many smoking visitors when I ate there. I decided to buy 6 frozen betutu chicken (yup, that good!) and bring them to Jakarta, so I can really enjoy them without unpleasant and unhealthy smell. Apart from my inconvenient experience, anyone visiting Banyuwangi should try this food.
