This place is really OVERRATED and OVERPRICED!

I am from Jakarta and I do eat food from canteens and warung. The price here is like eating in a canteen in Jakarta. As I was in Banyuwangi and location is like a big warung, I was expecting something cheaper.

The template is rice, tofu, cucumber, some green veggies, and sambal. Then you can add on other options like squid, fish, shrimp, etc. My add ons were fish and shrimp, my friend's were squid and one egg, but the price for both of us were the same: IDR 40K for each.

Let's assume for each add on costs 10k, it means the Nasi Tempong is 20k. It is the same price like I eat in a better restaurant (Srengenge Wetan is a restaurant I recommend in Banyuwangi). Also, 10k for an egg is too much!

Shrimp is very small btw, looks many but so much skin and big head.

Taste? It is just a normal food. Wont come here again.

Oh also parking for cars is not easy here. Maybe just dont come, you are not missing anything.

Sego tempong is a typical Banyuwangi food. The sambal is delicious and spicy, the characteristic of sego tempong is that it has to be spicy, if you say it's too spicy it means you don't know what sego tempong is. The side dishes are various, only the vegetables are few, I wish there were more vegetables like before

Well, the food is delicious, the sambal taste great! But, unfortunately the ambience is far from comfortable. They have mini fish pond inside the restaurant but it can’t live up the ambience, too dark for the place to eat and one thing, there are many flies.

Authentic Banyuwangi's foods with lots of option, you can mix and match with your own choice, all traditionally served. Located in the middle of residential area with very limited parking lot, especially if you go there by car. They provide chair seated table and also ground seated as traditional javanese. The price is very reasonable which considered very cheap. Very recommended if you are visiting Banyuwangi.

The food is super delicious, the price is reasonable (you can even say cheap ????), the place is clean, the food is varied. Rice, lalapan (boiled vegetables such as eggplant), fried fish, sambal (not too spicy), crispy omelette, fried small crab (if you are lucky as this is rare to get), salted fish, crackers or krupuk is an amazing combination. You can get an authentic local Banyuwangi food here. I come to this place two times as I like it very much ❤️

Not bad, the places are little spacious and more clean. It's like a warung with extended like rumah makan. Theres a parking area for motorcycles, but for cars, you can park on side the road. Don't worry, There will be a person will guide you to park.

The taste are good with reasonable price (maybe). E.g. 1 portion + pogot amount 27-28k, plus egg and hot tea total 34k.

Don't go here unless you can eat spicy ????
