It's a historical place in Bandung City which not only a monument but there's also a museum inside it. The museum show every people fights against colonialism. It right place to learn and refresh your mind at once.

The Museum open from 09 am untill 03 pm and only available on Weekdays. It close on Weekend.

The office guard is so nice and polite.

During weekend esoecially morning, this place is too crouded as many poeple coming for sport activitis, as well as free market, and culinary of local/traditional food.

Weekday is not too many people, you can enjoy doing joging around the park.

Entrance is 1000 rupiah perperson

it is a grand monument to celebrate the heroic sacrifice made by the sundanese to liberate themselves from colonialist rule.

it seems unfortune though that their offsprings lets them down by successfully ruining this place. the authority have done little to maintain this complex intact, and the people, well I don’t know how to describe it. so very sad...hope it can take a turn for the better in the future!

Crowded and full of street seller of any bargain goods on any given sunday, yet actually a great place to hangout or do some jogging on other days.

Too hot in the afternoon, better you visit this monument in the morning or before sunset. This place also use for prewedding photo shoot..

This was one of instagramable monument. The entrance was lil bit confusing, you need to find like a security office which was small and not detectable if it was a security office. This monument was hugh and amazing, because it had really good architecture and lil bit high so you could see gedung sate from here. Under this monument there was a museum. Like the other museum , it told you the history of bandung and west java. I couldnt find the reason why this monument was built even I looked for in the museum. The best time for taking picture is in the morning, because this place so hot at the afternoon or if you wanna catch the golden hour it is also good, around 4 till 5 pm. If you coming from gedung sate, you just need walk straight.

A crowded traditional market place on weekends. Cheap price on things... You can bargain for the things you're gonna buy..
