It's a big public place where local people can bring all the family together.
Before pandemic the place was used to have big crowds for relax and chill out after long strolling over the city. The location is on the center of Bandung city.
Near to some tourist attraction like Asia Africa Monument, Braga Street, Savoy Homan Hotel and many more.
The Alun-alun itself integrated with Masjid Agung Bandung, so muslim people also able to have daily prayer whilst on visit.
On the back of Alun-alun there is halte for Bandung Tourist on the Bus or Bandros. Tourist can have a 45 minutes trip around the centre of Bandung city with a tour guide explains some history of Bandung city. The trip cost 20K/ person. I think it's one of easy way to catch some glimpse of Bandung city.
There are toilets, basement canteen and basement parking available there.
Evening around 15.30 to 17.00 is the best time to chill and relax in alun-alun Bandung. No need to worry for food and drink jajan cemilan around ????
