Hotel Horison Lampung

Booked from tue-fri on fri morning the week before and got the ok through phone. However once we land on Lampung from Jakarta on tue afternoon, we're notified that we can only stay from tue-thu due to high capacity on thursday. Doesn't make sense and honestly a bit disappointing way to start the week at Lampung.

ROOM
Booked Junior suite for 6D5N. At first we got room on 5th floor though I asked higher floor but the staff said it was full. When we entered, the room was hot and fridge didn't cool. We had the aircon fixed by hotel's technician, but even after 3-4 hours, the room was still hot.
We were given another room. But I was so dissappointed as the room was on the 3rd floor. The room was even uglier, dirty, and many things broken. Door stoppers, bathroom door handle, tissue holder in the bathroom, sinkhole and bath tub hole cover were all broken. The view was ugly, neighbourhood was also noisy. Every night we couldn't sleep well because the sound from traffic. Even late night some people riding noisy motorcycles.
On the 3rd day, the aircon didn't work really well. The room was hot, we all got headache, my baby was also cranky. The technician fixed the aircon but even after some hours, it was cooler but not really cool even until I checked out.

Pro: mini fridge was functioned properly.

BREAKFAST
For 3 stars hotel, actually the variation was quite a lot and the taste was good enough. But I don't know whether the guests were too barbaric when eating or the staffs didn't aware the food was run out, I always found many things empty and took too long to be refilled.

RESTAURANT
So surpised that the food we ordered for several time lunches were all delicious though it took forever to be served. The price was also reasonable.

SERVICE
So surpised that the staffs were nice and polite. They greeted me, from front office to the housekeeping. The securities were also helpful.
The housekeepers were excellent. They were available very fast, morning to evening. Also they refilled what had to be refilled everyday eventhough I didn't use it.

GENERAL
*The hotel lobby was big enough. It had some communal seating around the lobby. Also it was nice that they provided some snacks and hot tea in front receptionist for welcome treats, but apparently everybody could take it.
*Pool was located outside of restaurant. The water was cold and the wind was strong at the time we stayed there.
*Gym was also available. But the gym room was so hot, dark and creepy, also smelly.

Good place in the middle of the city. Good food, good parking, but some facilities need more maintenance. Also service improvement from the staffs for the guests.

Always satisfied with its service. The fresh smell since the first step to the lobby, very clean floor in all areas, high standard of room and utilities sanitizing, nice pool. I looked for Tv remote in the room, and quite surprised as the remote is in paper bag-disinfected. God, I've been looking in each locker. I even got free body weight check using digital body analyzer and got printed result. Delicious and various food. A little annoying thing is water dispenser in the restaurant, it took so long to fill the glass. So its better ask waiter to get the water.

I stays here for 2 nights, in my opinion this hotel was old with low quality stuff inside room such as; Changhong TV without digital channels (???? screen), cover under the Sofa was broken, and many more. But the worst thing in my experience is the room service, I requested for a plate immediately for my dinner in my room but with around 30 minutes already waiting, waiting experience is unpleasant thing.

It's a good hotel for your staycation like me.
There's a pool and then gym room. The breakfast was good, specially salad I love it.
For room I've DELUXE room and it was so nice.

I stayed for 3 nights. The first night was horrible. My room (room 312) was so dirty, the linen, the floor, the toilet were dirty. Therefore, I got upgraded to junior suite class (room 617) which much better. Thank you for Pak Edy the duty manager and mas Refi, for prompt response and hospitality. The breakfast menu was variative and delicious. The location is also very strategic. The one that must improve is the cleanliness of their room and the linen/blanket.
