One of good place for you to find some open space in the middle of crowded Balikpapan city. The park is not too wide, but it is enough for you to take a walk, run, jog, or only for you to just sit and enjoy the surrounding. At night, you can find several food stalls open at the surrounding of the park

Taman bekapai...a small green area in the city of Balikpapan. Yet at night this place lives for street food. you can find many local food and a nice environment to bring your family and kids just to enjoy the small park or sitting together eating. This location is also in a walking distance from Ibis hotel if you are a traveler. On the left side, you can find a restaurant that provide many choices of food. nice ambience and many food to choose. enjoy your time here. (sorry my pics are not clear)

There are many food stall like fried rice, salad, pecel lele etc..

Having a night stroll here, it filled with locals enjoying their night by singing or chatting. There's food stalls on the side of the small road. Doesn't get any weird stare or danger like in other city in Indonesia. It feels pretty safe for midnight stroll.

Small park and very nice view good for jogging and they have so many food street.
