We are about to spend 3 days staying in this hotel. The first day we had in non smoking junior suite was absolutely wonderful, the second day was a bit dissapointing because we moved to deluxe room and we booked a non smoking room, but apparently we were given a smoking room because there was an ashtray and the room had cigarette smell.
I hope it wont happen again next time. Other than that, we love our staying in this hotel very much.

A nice hotel at the suburbs of Balikpapan, pretty far from city center, but there's lot of groceries and convenience stores nearby.

The rooms are clean, the staff are nice and friendly, and the food they offer is pretty tasty and there's a lot of choices.

Recommended.

Nice and clearn room with no drinks except some tea bags and sugar, Although a small fridge was equiped. Had smoking rooms as a must in indonesia.
All staffs is friendly and polite

We stayed here just for a night to celebrate my husband's birthday only but the services were excellent.
From the room, it's quite spacious, clean, complete with complete toiletries and bar complimentary (water in bottles, tea, coffee, sugar, general stuff), couple slippers and towels.
We also had dinner in room last night. We ordered Sop Buntut and Fried Rice. It was nice, not that perfect as its not that hot when served but the taste is good.
The breakfast service was great too. They had various types of food from Indonesian to western.
The best was the hospitality of the staffs.
From check in counter service, restaurant service, and even one of the staffs, ms Tasya was so helpful and kindly prepared my special request to give birthday surprise for my husband.
Overall, today was one of my best moments staying at Hotels in Balikpapan, especially with Platinum Hotel.

I stayed in this hotel between 24 Jan - 27 Jan, but I forgot to take many pictures because the work schedule was very tight.
The hotel's service was great. The room (it was double bed type) was clean and quite spacious, with AC, hot/cold shower, hair dryer, refrigerator, and TV cables. However, there were no electrical sockets near the bed. Hence, we could not check the phone on the bed while charging.
The breakfast menu has various dishes u0026 drinks. Don't forget to try the bread u0026 pastry, I particularly love the donuts. I hope I can come back to Balikpapan again and do justice by taking more pics of this hotel.

Clean and everything in the room worked. Sound proofing of room walls could be improved upon.
